Correct spelling and grammar is very important these days, especially for writers. However, not everyone can afford the steep prices of some of the office suites that include a spelling and Grammar Check.  When one runs into this sort of problem, it is of concern on how they will be able to check their work when they finally complete it for spelling and grammar errors.

A spelling and grammar checker is software that can check your writing either as you type or in full after you have completed your writing. It is very handy for those whose spelling and grammar skills are not top notch. It can make a bad writer a mediocre writer and a mediocre writer seem like a professional! There are free office suites available that can do the same exact thing the paid office suites can do. If you're not into downloading a whole suite of products just for the spelling and Grammar Check feature there are also free stand-alone programs that are also available on the internet for download that will just perform spelling and grammar checks!  You just need to be careful from whom you download the software from though. Read the sites reviews and what the software will exactly do before downloading and installing it. There is no greater frustration than downloading something that is advertised as free only to find out it is trial ware or shareware.
